The final gap in the Shahe Extra-large Bridge on the Chengdu-Chongqing Central High-speed Railway’s rolling-stock access line was closed Tuesday. The 1.47-km bridge is key to linking the railway with Chengdu’s rail hub. Its completion connects the station complex and train depot, clearing a major bottleneck on the access route.
