Sugar beet harvesting is underway across major growing areas of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, where mechanization is improving efficiency and crop quality. About 7,893 hectares in one division are ready for harvest, which began mechanically on Sept. 26. The Corps has expanded support across the production and processing chain to modernize the industry.
