HealthWorld Bank commits $426.6 million to Ebola response
The World Bank Group pledged $426.6 million to help contain the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and improve preparedness in surrounding regions. The package includes $80 million for the country’s national response and $13 million for neighboring countries. Funding will also support frontline workers, affected communities, essential health services and regional emergency readiness.
