PoliticsICE rejects call for automatically recording body cameras

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement rejected a Government Accountability Office recommendation to update its camera rules and automatically activate agents’ body cameras. ICE cited privacy risks, including recording sensitive interactions with informants or victims. It said all offices have cameras, while training is still under way.
