ScienceNASA’s first Venus missions in a generation are moving ahead

NASA’s DAVINCI mission is now scheduled to launch in December 2030, a year earlier than previously planned, and will send a probe through Venus’s atmosphere to capture the first direct surface images since 1982. VERITAS is due to launch in November 2032 to map the surface by radar. ESA’s EnVision is also planned for 2032, while Rocket Lab hopes to launch a privately funded cloud-probing mission as soon as next year.
