Spanish charity Salvamento Maritimo Humanitario (SMH) has postponed its next migrant rescue mission in the Central Mediterranean until next year after fuel prices doubled. It has shifted operations to waters near Valencia and launched a crowdfunding campaign to cover the added expense.
