Richard “Levelord” Gray, a prolific first-person shooter level designer, died Monday at 68, according to a social media post by Apogee Entertainment. Former colleague Joe Siegler said Gray had battled cancer on and off for some time. Gray designed levels for Blood and Duke Nukem 3D, including its hidden “You’re Not Supposed to Be Here” Easter egg.
