WorldUS rejects reports Iran sent $200m to Hezbollah, says group must disarm for Lebanon aid

Hezbollah says it will give up to $14,000 to Lebanese families whose homes were destroyed or made uninhabitable in the war with Israel. Israel’s air offensive and ground invasion of southern Lebanon, which began in April, displaced 1.2 million people. The US questioned reports that Iran provided $200m and said Hezbollah must disarm for Lebanon to receive aid.
