HealthSingapore to subsidize haze-related care at clinics from Oct 12

Singapore will activate two healthcare schemes from Oct 12 as air quality worsens. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said emergency departments and polyclinics are seeing more respiratory cases each week, and the schemes are intended to steer patients toward primary care. The Public Health Preparedness Clinic scheme was last activated during COVID-19, while the Haze Subsidy Scheme was last used in 2015.
