The Trump administration has imposed sweeping sanctions on the International Criminal Court, arguing that the tribunal has become politicized and sought to prosecute Americans and Israelis unfairly and illegally on war-crimes charges. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the measures Friday, after South African prosecutor Navi Pillay, a former judge at the ICC and other international courts, received the Nobel Peace Prize.
