Japan has closed Asia’s biggest sporting event after more than two weeks of competition. The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games featured historic victories and memorable moments, with more than 1,500 medals awarded across 43 sports, but also drew criticism. Doha will host Asia’s top athletes again in four years, 24 years after its previous Games.
