WorldAustralia investigates flydubai co-pilot's links to country

Australian authorities are investigating possible ties between the country and the Omani co-pilot at the centre of the Sep. 30 attack on flydubai flight FZ1073 en route to Israel. UAE investigators accuse him of planning a “terrorist act”, alleging he attacked the captain with a cockpit crash axe before trying to seize control of the aircraft. He reportedly studied in Melbourne between 2015 and 3017.
