WorldFrench School Protests, the 'Starvation' of Oleshky, Heroism on Flight 1073 and Brazil Elections

The programme highlights French school protests, the reported “starvation” of Oleshky, Brazil’s elections and the heroism aboard FlyDubai flight 1073. Witnesses said the co-pilot tried to kill the captain and wreck the cockpit controls, sending the plane into a descent of more than 14,000 feet in 30 seconds. Despite repeated stab wounds, Captain Smit Machchhar opened the door, enabling passengers to overpower the suspect and regain control.
