TechFrom robot baristas to AI doctors: How China is making AI part of everyday life

China is quickly weaving artificial intelligence into daily life, with uses ranging from robot baristas and delivery services to traffic control, healthcare and education. Generative AI is also widely used for research, writing and translation; China had about 602 million users at the end of last year, more than twice the previous figure.
