WorldPope urges concessions for peace amid war in Ukraine

Speaking to European leaders in Metz, France, Pope Leo said negotiators trying to end the war in Europe must be prepared to give up some positions in order to secure peace. As efforts to end Russia’s war in Ukraine continue to fail, he urged leaders to remember the EU’s founding values, including the rule of law and equality for all.
