WorldPope Leo touches on war, migration in Metz speech

During his four-day visit to France, Pope Leo urged Europe to remember its Christian history in a speech in Metz, the hometown of EU founding figure Robert Schuman. Speaking in French, he called on Europeans to recall the EU’s founding values, including the rule of law and equality for all regardless of race, colour, class or profession.
