WorldThai capital flooding: Police help evacuate thousands from homes

Tens of thousands remain stranded in Bangkok after flooding hit the Thai capital over the weekend. Water has risen above a metre in some areas and has not receded despite a pause in the rain. The government is sending more than 10,000 troops to assist evacuations, while police help residents leave their homes.
