WorldGaza’s $2.4bn recovery plan unveiled at UN as feasibility questions remain

The US-led Board of Peace has presented a six-month, $2.4bn recovery plan for Gaza at the UN General Assembly in New York. It proposes 66 projects, including essential water and sanitation infrastructure, while the broader recovery is estimated to cost $70bn over a decade. Former Human Rights Watch chief Kenneth Roth calls the plan a “fantasy” for failing to account for ongoing Israeli actions.
