WorldHurricane Polo churns off Mexico

Hurricane Polo has intensified into one of the strongest Pacific cyclones in decades and is forecast to pass near Mexico’s southwestern coast as a Category 5 storm. The National Hurricane Center called it “extremely dangerous,” reporting maximum sustained winds of 165 miles per hour.
