Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani focused on Gaza’s humanitarian crisis in his UN General Assembly address, describing the situation as a “genocide” and a “stain of shame” on humanity. He called for an immediate ceasefire, an end to the blockade and a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, while also addressing conflicts in Lebanon, Sudan and Yemen.
