WorldAbbas says Palestinians face a ‘genocidal war’ in Gaza in UN speech

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told the U.N. General Assembly that Palestinians in Gaza are facing what he called a “genocidal war,” alongside expanding settlements and violence in the occupied West Bank. He spoke by prerecorded video from his office in Ramallah after the United States denied him and other senior Palestinian officials visas to attend in person for a second straight year.
