WorldTaiwan President Lai Ching-te inspects joint missile drill

Taiwan President Lai Ching-te visited a missile base in Pingtung on Sept. 18 to observe a three-day joint precision missile exercise involving the army, navy and air force. He praised the results, saying the drill demonstrated Taiwan’s ability to defend its sovereignty and help preserve regional peace and stability. The exercise included Hsiung Feng missiles, HIMARS and attack drones.
