ScienceT. rex had a body temperature similar to humans, study finds

UCLA scientists used dinosaur tooth material to estimate Tyrannosaurus rex’s body temperature at 97 degrees Fahrenheit, close to that of humans. The finding suggests a warm-blooded T. rex was an energetic predator or scavenger rather than a sluggish animal that basked in the sun. The researchers developed the fossil-temperature method and used teeth from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
