HealthMakeshift Gaza clinic helps war-wounded recover despite prosthetic shortages

Thousands of Palestinians in Gaza have suffered life-changing injuries in the war, including many children. The World Health Organization says one in four people injured there since October 2023 sustained such injuries. With medical supplies, prosthetic materials and specialist care scarce, only about 500 people have received permanent prostheses.
