TechLIVE: EU proposes AI and social media ban for under-15s

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU tech chief Henna Virkkunen presented the EU Kids Act in Strasbourg. A Commission document seen by Reuters says the EU will propose restricting under-15s from social media, video-sharing platforms, AI chatbots and online games in its broadest plan yet to protect children online.
