WorldCENTCOM spokesman says US military ‘strictly adheres to laws of armed conflict’

US CENTCOM spokesman Tim Hawkins told Al Jazeera that US forces fully comply with the laws of armed conflict in Iran and target only “military targets”. Responding to Iranian claims that US attacks have killed civilians, Hawkins said the US has never targeted civilians, contrasting its conduct with Iran and especially the IRGC.
