SocietySarawak steps up orangutan monitoring as haze and heat persist

Wildlife authorities in Sarawak have increased orangutan surveillance as haze covers parts of the state. Rangers at the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre near Kuching have intensified patrols and used drones to track hotspots, but say the animals have shown no sudden changes in health or behaviour so far.
