World‘Risk of catastrophic incident’ after Denmark says Russian frigate fired flares at helicopter

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen condemned as “reckless” a Russian frigate’s firing of flares at a Danish military helicopter in the Baltic Sea the previous day. Military analysts warned the flares could have caused a catastrophic incident had they struck the rotor blades.
