A press conference followed publication of the final report from a public inquiry into the murders of seven newborn babies by nurse Lucy Letby. The inquiry said hospital managers could have prevented further deaths had they acted sooner. Letby is serving life in prison after convictions for murdering seven newborns and attempting to murder eight others.
