CultureNational Museum of American History marks 9/11 with artifacts exhibition

The National Museum of American History is displaying 40 artifacts from the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Pennsylvania crash site to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Items include twisted steel, objects from Flight 93, notes left by Pentagon employees for their families, and clothing worn by rescuers and journalists. Museum staff are also recounting their experiences collecting the objects.
