EconomyEU Commission eyes major import overhaul to crack down on illegal Chinese products

Brussels is preparing draft legislation to target non-compliant imports as part of a broader effort to curb illegal Chinese products entering the EU market. The proposal would also make online marketplaces liable, introduce a new market-surveillance fee and centralise enforcement.
