A U.S. ban on Canadian alcohol sales would hit the country’s spirits industry hard, Spirits Canada says. President and CEO Cal Bricker says about half of the $2 billion in spirits produced annually in Canada is sold in the U.S.; Crown Royal sales in Texas alone exceed those across all of Canada.
