The death toll from flooding in Nepal and Tibet continues to rise as conditions change rapidly. The Red Cross says about 93,000 people have been affected. Aid is arriving from several countries, but rescue coordination has been hindered by the remote Himalayan terrain; responders reached the disaster’s epicentre only 48 hours after the floods began.
