WorldDrone attacks escalate against Libya’s oil and power infrastructure

A drone strike in Libya’s Az Zawiya set a petrol storage tank ablaze at the country’s largest oil refinery, while emergency crews worked overnight to contain the fire. The National Oil Corporation called it the fifth attack on energy facilities in recent days and said such sites must remain outside the conflict. Hours later, another drone struck a sub-power station, disabling more than half of its 1,300-megawatt capacity. The outages are worsening power cuts and increasing demand for fuel.
