WorldTyphoon Dolphin slams Zhejiang and Shanghai, stranding travellers and residents

Typhoon Dolphin came ashore on China’s eastern coast with winds reaching 150 km/h, bringing widespread flooding and damage. More than one million people were evacuated from vulnerable parts of Shanghai and Zhejiang. Flights were cancelled, businesses closed and streets filled with floodwater. As the storm weakened while moving inland, authorities in Jiangxi and Hubei warned of possible landslides and flash floods. Katrina Yu reports for Al Jazeera.
