At least 13 people, including a child, were killed and 75 others injured in a Ukrainian drone strike in Tatarstan, according to Russian authorities. The attack hit the city of Nizhnekamsk, more than 1,100 kilometres from Ukraine’s border. It is described as one of the deadliest single attacks on Russia since Moscow began its full-scale war in Ukraine. Ukraine’s armed forces confirmed that the Tanevo oil refinery was hit, while Kyiv has not commented on the strike.
