WorldTyphoon Dolphin heads for eastern China after injuring six in Japan

Typhoon Dolphin is moving toward eastern China after striking southern Japan and injuring at least six people. The storm is crossing the East China Sea and is forecast to reach China’s eastern coast from late Sunday into Monday. Persistent heavy rain across a broad area could create a serious threat. Rainfall totals are expected to reach 200 to 400mm, with isolated amounts near 600mm, raising the danger of flash floods and landslides. Authorities have activated emergency measures.
