World‘This is the future for Europe’: Fareed reacts to Moroccan migrant crisis

Around 50,000 migrants crossed into Spain’s North African exclave of Ceuta this week, creating a mass influx that overwhelmed local authorities. At least 57 people died during the crossings, leading authorities across Europe to tighten border security. Spanish leaders said they were trying to expel everyone who had entered as quickly as possible. By Friday evening, they said most migrants had been returned to neighboring Morocco. Many others went back voluntarily after being unable to find food or shelter.
