At least 17 people were killed and dozens were wounded overnight in Kyiv and nearby areas. Russia launched more than two dozen ballistic and anti-ship missiles, and Ukrainian defenses failed to intercept any of them. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky again urged Kyiv’s allies to provide the military equipment needed to bring down Russian missiles. Reports that US weapons stocks are shrinking, however, could affect Ukraine’s ability to receive that equipment from Washington.
