Passengers aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey expected a round-the-world voyage lasting more than three years and covering over 150 countries. After 750 days, the ship suspended operations on Tuesday because of exceptionally high fuel costs, leaving them stranded in Cambodia. Its US-based operator says it is arranging disembarkation and temporary accommodation with passengers.
