PoliticsCarney says Indian Act could be reformed or abolished

After a historic meeting with premiers and First Nations leaders, Prime Minister Mark Carney said his government could reform or abolish the Indian Act. Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew first raised abolition at the First Nations-First Ministers conference; previous governments have also discussed and tried the move.
