PoliticsCarney speaks to media after historic meeting with First Nations leaders in Ottawa

Prime Minister Mark Carney is scheduled to speak at 3:30 p.m. ET after Monday’s historic Ottawa meeting between First Nations leaders and some premiers. He said it was the first in-person meeting between first ministers and First Nations leaders in two decades. Assembly of First Nations National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak said First Nations worked hard to secure the meeting and it should not be the last.
