WorldFrance: Thousands march in Orléans against National Rally congress

Thousands of anti-fascist demonstrators marched in Orléans on Saturday to protest a congress of Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally. They criticised Le Pen and President Emmanuel Macron, chanting and displaying anti-far-right banners. The rally followed renewed nationwide cost-of-living protests, which had turned violent the previous week. The two-day congress was also a major campaign event for Le Pen.
