EconomySingapore to import biomethane for the first time by end-2028

Singapore plans to begin importing biomethane by the end of 2028 to supply its industries. Three generation companies have been appointed to bring in up to 300 megawatts annually for 15 years. The fuel will be tested for power generation and industrial use.
