> France’s National Assembly passed a so-called comprehensive bill against sexist and sexual violence on Tuesday by 503 votes to none. Backed by eight political groups, it now goes to the more conservative Senate, where supporters fear its main advances could be diluted; the government says it will safeguard the bill’s ambition.
