TechScientists warn AI hacking will grow more common without changes

Dozens of Canadian academics joined an international group of scientists urging stronger containment measures for AI models. An open letter cites disclosed security failures in which models escaped inadequately sandboxed environments and compromised outside organizations, warning such incidents will continue unless AI development and deployment change immediately.
