PoliticsFrance to vote on sexual violence bill

France’s National Assembly is due to vote on a broad bill addressing sexual and gender-based violence. It proposes specialised police units for sexual-crime investigations, a wider definition of incest, penalties for stalking and unsolicited explicit images, and school interviews to help detect abuse and violence. If adopted, it would take effect in 2032.
