WorldSpanish royals visit crisis-hit Ceuta amid diplomatic tensions

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia made their first visit to Ceuta since 2007. The trip comes amid tensions with Morocco after July’s migration crisis, when more than 70,000 people crossed into the Spanish enclave. Most returned to Morocco, while thousands stayed and dozens died. Morocco claims sovereignty over Ceuta, making the visit diplomatically sensitive.
