Rivers across England face widespread chemical and sewage pollution, raising concerns for freshwater ecosystems and wildlife. Findings show that every English river fails chemical standards and 85 percent are contaminated by parasiticides linked to pet flea treatments. Thames21 chief executive Chris Coode says climate change is worsening the problem.
