WorldCan Iran prevent a wider war between the US and Houthis?

Al Jazeera interviews Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, about Iran’s mediation in Yemen and rising tensions with Washington. Parsi says Tehran wants to avert a wider regional war, while noting that Yemen’s Houthi movement, also known as Ansar Allah, acts independently and does not always heed Iran’s advice. He also discusses Saudi-Iranian normalisation and the prospect of further US escalation.
